Administrators, managers, etc.
For security, the following people need a verification code (a 6-digit number).
General employees also need a verification code when they use the regular login instead of Quick Login.
What is a verification code?
It is a 6-digit number shown in the “authenticator app” on your smartphone. It changes to a new number every 30 seconds.
It keeps anyone but you from logging in, even if your password is found out.
Have your smartphone ready.
Install an authenticator app on your smartphone
Find “Google Authenticator” or “Microsoft Authenticator” in the App Store (iPhone) or Google Play (Android) and install it. It is free. You only need one of them.
Enter your ID and password
On the login screen, enter your “User ID” and “Password”, then press “Log In”.
Scan the QR code with the app
A QR code appears on the “Set up two-factor authentication” screen. Open the authenticator app on your smartphone, tap “+” or “Add account”, choose “Scan QR code”, and scan the QR code on the screen.
Enter the 6-digit number to register
A 6-digit number appears in the app. Enter it in “6-digit code” on the screen and press “Register and sign in”. Registration is then complete.
Enter your ID and password
On the login screen, enter your “User ID” and “Password”, then press “Log In”.
Open the authenticator app
Open the authenticator app on your smartphone and look at the 6-digit number next to “TypeCompass”.
Enter the 6-digit number
On the “Enter your verification code” screen, type it into “6-digit code” and press “Log In”.
If something goes wrong
Select the item that applies to see what to do.
This is often caused by a typing mistake. Please check the following.
If you keep entering it wrongly, you will be temporarily unable to log in. If you are unsure, check with the person who gave you your ID and password.
For your safety, logging in is temporarily stopped. After the time shown on the screen has passed, it will work again automatically. Please wait a while and try again.
Please check the following in order.
This appears when you enter the verification code wrongly several times in a row, or leave the screen for a while. Start again from “User ID” and “Password” on the login screen.
You cannot fix this yourself. Ask your system administrator to “reset two-factor authentication”. After the reset, you register again on your new smartphone the next time you log in.
We have strengthened security and are asking you to log in again. This is not a fault. If you use Quick Login, follow the steps under “Field and general employees”; if you use a verification code, follow the steps under “Administrators, managers, etc.” and log in again.
If you have registered an email address, you can receive a reset email from “Forgot Your Password?” on the login screen. If you do not have an email address, ask your on-site supervisor or manager, the HR contact, or the system administrator to reissue your password.
Forgot Your Password?General and field employees can use Quick Login, which needs no app. Administrators, HR, executives, managers and stress check implementers should consult the system administrator.
If it is still not solved
Contact your system administrator, the HR contact, or your on-site supervisor or manager. It helps if you tell them the following two things.
Do not tell anyone your password or verification code, or send them in a message. You also do not need to share them when you ask for help.
